Clare Lankester joins as Technology Programme Manager

We are delighted to announce that Dr Clare Lankester has joined Neotherix as Technology Programme Manager.  Clare brings a wealth of experience to Neotherix having held senior positions in Leeds University MedTech spin outs and with the Medipex NHS innovation hub.  She has also until recently been part of Team SY in Sheffield supporting tech entrepreneurs in that region.  Clare will continue her part time role as Regulatory Expert in Residence at the University of Sheffield and her understanding of the complexities of this critical area will also greatly benefit the current activities at Neotherix.

Clare will have oversight of the Neotherix product portfolio – EktoTherix™, RegeniTherix™, PhotoTherix™ and Seton-Scaffold Device™ – with a view to moving these through appropriate Technology Readiness Levels to commercialisation.  The role thus involves leading and managing interactions with collaborators, regulators, consultants, subcontractors, investors and other stakeholders as well as proactive project management.  Clare will work closely with Neotherix founder and CEO, Dr Mike Raxworthy in the raising of funds to allow the company’s business plans to be realised.

Neotherix chairman, Dr Rod Adams comments, “The skills and experience Clare brings to Neotherix have the potential to accelerate existing projects so these exciting treatments reach patients who will really benefit from them”.

We’re always happy to hear from potential investors and funding partners as well as researchers, universities and networks interested in our products and translational work.
