Dr Peter Iddon will give a talk at the forthcoming UK Society for Biomaterials meeting at Loughborough University. "Electrospun bioresorbable tissue repair scaffolds: travelling the pathway from laboratory to clinic" will form part of the session on 3D materials on Day 2 (Wednesday 21 June). Peter will cover the concepts underlying the electrospinning process and the particular applications to which Neotherix have deployed this. These include clinical use for acute wound repair (EktoTherix™), delivery of antimicrobial activity to infected wound sites (PhotoTherix™) and in vitro use for tissue and disease modelling.
